| The
Joseph Ford Computer Lab is used on a daily basis by Mr. Marshall and
the students in grades K-8. The students are learning a variety
of skills such as keyboarding and PowerPoint design. In addition
to weekly computer classes the students create additional technology
projects with their classroom teachers. Teachers are also using Mimio equipment such as Mimio IX, MimioVote, and Mimio View (www.mimio.com) within their classrooms. Mimio gives the students a chance to learn with an interactive white board. Teachers and staff are using their classroom computers to take daily attendance and access their grade books. The new software program, Administer Plus, allows St. Charles School to create and print report cards as well as maintain student records. |
